Little Dragons: Little Dragons program was developed specifically for preschool age children ages 3-5.This program teaches children basic life skills such as, respect, confidence and having a positive attitude. Through the activities provided they will develop better listening skills, an increased attention span, how to cooperate with others while having fun socializing with children their own age. The earlier you expose your child to an environment that tends to their physical, cognitive, emotional and social needs, the more well-rounded your child will become.
Children Taekwondo: Our children’s Martial Arts program is a perfect blend of respect, positive discipline, and fun. They learn how to act and react to the world around them. Our students are treated with respect and are taught to return the same respect to others. We teach students the value of making goals and striving to achieve them. We believe in praise, encouragement and positive reinforcement. Students will also learn essential life skills such as Character Development, staying safe in school, staying safe on the street and how to defeat the bully without fighting, in a fun and safe environment.
Adult Taekwondo: Rodness’ Martial Arts Center makes getting in shape fun, rewarding and accomplishing. Our adult curriculum combines self-defense skills, physical and mental fitness with a lot of fun! We emphasize the positive attributes of our students, helping them gain self-esteem and achieve higher goals. We believe in following a high standard of values to bring out the good in our students and increase the quality of life. Regular attendance will result in stress reduction and improved health.
Kali: In modern world self protection, the need for weapon defense and weapons training is a reality. Whether confronted with an attacker wielding a knife or stick, or teaching our student how to properly defend themselves with these weapons, the art of Kali gives the Martial Arts student the knowledge needed to survive.
Brazilian Jiujitsu: Brazilian Jiujitsu emphasizes bringing an opponent to the ground and then employing grappling techniques to subdue the opponent. Students utilize holds, arm-locks, leg-locks, chokes, and strikes. Brazilian
Jiujitsu takes full advantage of body geometry and leverage. This strategy can neutralize the advantage of larger and stronger opponents and those with superior striking abilities.
JKD Unlimited/Mixed Martial Arts for the Street™: Mixed Martial Arts is for people of all ages, with or without previous martial arts experience. Learn How to defend yourself, get a great workout, have fun and ultimately improve as an individual. Training methods from a number of different martial arts styles are used in this program developed by world renowned Burton Richardson and follow the teachings of the late Bruce Lee’s fighting philosophies. These arts are taught together, in a blend, designed to aid in fighting from four ranges: Kicking, Punching, Clinching and Grappling.
Fitness Kickboxing gives you all the fun stuff in Karate (kicking, punching, getting in shape) without all the serious stuff (uniforms, belts, breaking boards with your head, etc.). Our instructors will have you breaking a serious sweat and you will learn some self defense techniques without yelling any foreign words. It’s hard work, but it is a fun way to get in shape!
